An active agent in two markets, Inna Sobel extended her career as a top rental agent at Manhattan Apartments, Inc. into the sales industry. While maintaining her six-year position in rentals, she parlayed her experience as a private investor into simultaneously becoming a successful agent in our Sales division. Having bought and sold numerous properties in all boroughs of New York City, she was already well versed in contract negotiations and had developed an in-depth knowledge of financing options, allowing her to swiftly acquire and sell several property exclusives. Inna leads a team of energetic rental agents, who through expert marketing, a wide base of customer referrals, and an always intense commitment to their clients are steadily amongst the top agents in our office.
Born and raised in the former USSR, Inna earned her B.A. in Psychology from St. John's University and her M.S.W. from Adelphi University. She began as a social worker and spent two years at Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, and then worked as a psychotherapist at Jamaica Hospital for four years. She decided to combine her love of people and her love of real estate and began her career as a rental agent for Manhattan Apartments, Inc. in 1998. Inna's rare combination of skills brought her rapid success with her clients and within the company. Her astute sensitivity to people and her knowledge of the rental marketplace made it easy for her to match available apartments to her clients needs.
As a salesperson who is versatile between the rental and sales markets, Inna continuously seeks out properties that are wise investments for her customers as well as for herself. Having been on all sides of the fence, Inna has distinguished herself as a very powerful advocate for those she represents, whether they are looking to buy, sell, or rent a property in Manhattan. In late 2003, she became a mother of a little girl named Eve Marie. In her spare time, she is devoted to finding homes for as many abandoned animals as possible.
