Inwood

North of Fort George, Inwood begins at Dyckman Street and extends to the most northern tip of Manhattan.

The Harlem River marks its eastern border with High Bridge Park and Jacob Javits Athletic Field to the south. Its western border on the Hudson River is lined by Inwood Hill Park featuring recreation areas that include tennis, baseball, playgrounds, marinas and breathtaking overlooks.Fort Tryon Park on the southwest border is where you will find the famed Cloisters Museum.

Primarily residential, there are many public and parochial schools in the area and most subway stations are within walking distance from any location.

 

Prices for homes are very reasonable and it is only a 20 minute subway ride to midtown.
