One of the finest listing agents we have had at Manhattan Apartments, Inc., Lisa Saskowicz has risen to the top as Rental Listings Manager in our highly organized, fast-paced Rental Listings Department. Lisa is in touch with hundreds of landlords daily and is acutely aware of their requirements and of market trends, making her a skilled liaison between the landlords and our rental agents. With her exceptional knowledge of our vast inventory of apartments, she has the ability to coordinate the elements that get an apartment rented to the right, qualified tenant.
Lisa earned her B.A. from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, with a dual major in fashion design and merchandising. She then moved to New York City to work in its well-known fashion industry, where she stayed for a few years. When she got an offer to assist one of our top agents, she decided to make a career change and obtained her real estate license. She immediately found that she loved working closely with people on such an important aspect of their lives-finding a home. The process of matching clients with the right apartments was also exciting to her, in that based on the ability to pay attention to subtle details; success was dependant on individual creativity and self-motivation.
Lisa's energetic, helpful, hard-working nature and her quick grasp of the real estate industry caught the eye of the management staff and she was asked to join the listings team in August of 2001. Lisa is one of a small handful of people in MAI's 20 years who have had the disposition and focus to be exceptional as an agent in our listings department, which requires the ability to remember and coordinate hundreds of details, research and retrieve vital information about properties, and manage appointments for over 150 rental agents, at a pace that is not for the weak-hearted.
Lisa continuously offers knowledgeable and creative options to the rental agents to help them find the right apartment for specific clients. As team leader of our listings management team, she constantly contributes innovative ideas for making the department more efficient, which adds to the overall success of Manhattan Apartments, Inc.
