Neil Fuchs believes so strongly in customer service that he stepped aside from his 9-year position as Controller at Manhattan Apartments Inc. to create a new, more comprehensive, Client Services Division. His extensive experience with agents, landlords and clients opened his eyes to the need for a consumer advocate on staff whose time would be devoted solely to ensuring client satisfaction.
The high-speed process of renting an apartment in Manhattan can be daunting. As experts, our agents know that the best apartments only remain on the market for a day, and in some cases, only a few hours. Since the competition is so great, they act with the urgency that is required to get their clients what they want. The immediacy of this rental process can be overwhelming for apartment hunters since they are faced with the necessity to make quick decisions at a high cost.
Honest and warm by nature, Neil can take the time to explain anything that is unclear in a more relaxed and thorough manner. He can help clients understand the process and feel confident in their choices.
Having fostered strong, lasting relationships with each of our agents and staff members, Neil is able to work effectively on the client's behalf and ease any confusion between parties during the rental transaction. With Neil on their side, clients leave Manhattan Apartments, Inc. knowing they have received the very best service and most of the time with keys to a new apartment as well. After finding an apartment, Neil also offers clients access to the company’s network of move-in services which includes everything-from movers to closet designers-that can help them move into their new apartment and make it a home.
As MAI's financial officer and advisor since 1998, Neil was instrumental in implementing our current financial systems and making daily decisions regarding spending and cash flow management. He was also the company's chief liaison for business and legal affairs, facilitating all corporate financial planning and accounting. Earning a BBA from Baruch College, Neil previously worked as a credit analyst at Heller Financial and as a financial analyst at National Westminster Bank (now Bank of America).
A father of two young children, Neil believes in a team concept and often plays the role of advisor to MAI agents, staff and managers. He brings a bottom-line, conservative approach to the company's decision-making process, and is an integral part of creating the policies which are vital to an expanding business. A trusted straight shooter who is easy to talk to and always calm in his response, Neil is the perfect person to ease any concerns an apartment hunter may have with sound and knowledgeable advice.
