Trey Parker is a member of our Rental Listings Team, and also assists in all areas of company coordination. Born and raised in Murfreesboro, NC, Trey grew up answering business calls for his father's rural real estate business , and eventually ended up handling many aspects of his father's business. He also accompanied him in doing home appraisals. An appreciation for real estate was in his blood.
Trey earned his B.A. in Commercial Art from Chatham College in North Carolina. The job market in the town in which he lived had slim pickings, and when he read about the booming rental market in New York City, he knew that that was a natural progression for him and was where he was wanted to be. Trey came to New York City in 1999 to explore the real estate potential that it had to offer, and immediately found an ad for an Open House at Manhattan Apartments, Inc. The excitement of the offices and the astuteness of the managers appealed to him right away, and he was hired the next day as a rental agent.
With a contagious enthusiasm and charismatic style, everybody in the company immediately got to know Trey. He was always volunteering when anything needed to be done, from making copies of keys for the listings department to assisting with the coordination of company parties, which caught the eye of many members of management, and he was asked to join our staff as a member of our high-energy listings team. Working from one of our reception desks, where he also oversees many aspects of company coordination, Trey enthusiastically handles an incredible workload and is always willing to take on more, which makes him invaluable to management.
Trey is currently taking continuing education courses at N.Y.U. for property appraisal, and hopes to integrate his knowledge of real property law with his work at Manhattan Apartments, Inc., to explore a complex and essential aspect of Manhattan's real estate industry that many rental agents don't venture into. back to top
