A California native, Summer Connor moved to New York in 1996 and has lived in every part of the city. She graduated from NYU with a degree in communications and FIT with a degree in interior design and merchandising. Her academic achievements in mass-media and film production serve her well as a real estate professional. While selling properties at Sotherby’s International Realty, she set media staging for property marketing.
Before bringing her skills to the Real Estate industry, Summer was a free-lance, interior designer and set staging and set decorating for the History Channel, feature films and television. She also freelanced in merchandising and window display for ABC Carpet and Home and Natrona furniture as well as other corporate projects.
Personal and extraordinarily attentive, Summer brings a sense of fun and excitement, as well as knowledge, to the apartment rental and sales process. She focuses in on her clients goals and concerns by listening intently and chooses appropriate apartments to show them. Her persistence and follow-up on their behalf is greatly appreciated. Because of her design background, Summer is able to help her clients envision the potential of a space and how it will meet their lifestyle. She knows Manhattan well and is as comfortable renting reasonably priced walk up apartments as she is selling hi-end, luxury homes.
Her personal interests include yoga, playing soccer and volleyball, and dancing.
