Stephen Tam Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Born in Hong Kong, Stephen Tam and his family moved to Boston, Massachusetts when he was 14 years-old. It was there that Stephen attended high school and college, earning a BS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts – Boston. At 27 years-old, he decided to move to Manhattan and bought his first co-op on the Upper East Side.

Searching for his own apartment in Manhattan sparked Stephen’s interest in the dynamics of New York City’s Real Estate Market. He was fascinated by the boom the market had taken and by the drivers behind its prices. After purchasing his own home, he decided that a real estate career was meant for him.

Prior to moving to Manhattan, Stephen held an IT position in the Research & Development Department at Fulfillment Plus, a distribution company, for 6 years. In a research and development role at Fulfillment Plus, he learned that it is critical to listen and understand the needs of his clients and colleagues in order to find a solution that satisfies everyone involved. This transfers to the real estate industry as well.

With families, couples and young people investing time and money into purchasing a new home, Stephen wants to ensure that they are ecstatic about their purchase and happy and comfortable in their new homes. Stephen is an excellent listener who is very committed to his work. He believes these two qualities are extremely valuable to his clients and customers because maintaining the delicate balance between understanding clients’ and customers’ needs while considering their restraints is vital.

Stephen Tam is willing to turn Manhattan inside out for his customers and clients in an honest effort to give them the very best service. He promises to keep the excitement level up and the stress level low!
